The school contains roughly 400 children aged 3 to 11. On site is a Foundation Unit that offers places to 3,and 4 year old children. At the age of 11 children transfer to local secondary schools.
Larkrise reflects the local community with families from a wide variety of ethnic and social groups represented at the school. This cultural diversity is used to enrich the curriculum taught at the school.
